NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Well, there is only one more weekend left of a comedy performed by the Lamp-Lite Players in Nacogdoches.

The play is called “The Secret Affairs of Mildred Wild.” It’s about a star-struck movie buff who lives in a dream world conjured up by the 3,000 movies she has seen.

Pat Harris has the role not too much unlike her own love for acting.

"It's very much everybody's fantasy to do something beyond everyday life, and for Mildred, it's living in the movies, which is what I did,” Harris said. “For me it was Broadway. And I lived for musicals. When I lived in New York I had he great opportunity to take acting classes and use all of those experiences and bring it over here."

“The Secret Affairs of Mildred Wild” will be performed tonight and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The Saturday matinee starts at 2 p.m.

The Lamp-Lite Theatre is located off of West Loop 224 at the Old Tyler Road exit.
