Vehicle belonging to fire victim in Longview found, police investigating death as homicide

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - The missing vehicle belonging to a man who was killed in a duplex fire in Longview on Wednesday has been found.

The Longview Police and Fire Department's continue the investigation into the fire at 1715 Loring Ln. in Longview Texas that occurred on May 9, 2018.

Investigators continue to gather and process information into the death of Johnny Quentin Miller Jr.

Police say they are still awaiting the final autopsy report.

The police department did recover the 2002 Dodge Caravan which was not occupied on May 10, 2018, in the 900 block of S. Mobberly Ave.

What caused Miller's death still has not been determined, and the source of the fire hasn't been found. A fire that gutted the duplex, displacing the occupant who lived across from Miller.

Police are continuing to investigate.
