Food truck rally comes to Downtown Tyler

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

A food truck rally is scheduled for Saturday in Tyler.

The Hit the Bricks Food Truck Rally is Saturday throughout the afternoon on the Downtown Square.

This is the second food truck rally to be held in Downtown Tyler. The food trucks will be parked on the square starting at 11 a.m. 

Event organizers say attendees should bring their appetites and maybe a picnic blanket to sit on.

Participating trucks include:

  • Susie Q's Frigid Frog
  • Ted Kamel Foods
  • Kona Ice of East Texas
  • Pokey O's
  • Cafe 1948
  • Say Cheese
  • K-Jack's Ice Cream
  • BT's Rollin Smoke Pit BBQ
  • Wienerland
  • Lupitas

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and pop up chairs.

    The Texas Department of Transportation is looking to help make traveling easier for travelers in Tyler.
