At the Super 1 Foods on the loop in Tyler, clothes and school supplies were just some of the donations that filled shopping carts. Volunteers spent the day sorting out all the essentials for evacuees. The community's generosity is not going unnoticed. "Everyone has been wonderful to my family, my in-laws, my daughter's in-laws we've really been blessed. And we're just hoping that everybody in New Orleans will be safe and one day we'll be able to return back home," says Evacuee Irish Matthews. Irish was also surprised by volunteers today who brought her a cake for her birthday. Super 1 tells us Brookshire's plans to match today's donations of up to $250,000.
