Church Adds Shower Facilities For Hurricane Evacuees

One East Texas church housing hurricane evacuees is making some additions to its facility. The First Baptist Church in Athens is having six showers installed. The facilities were built inside a trailer in the back of the church. Prior to this, there had only been two showers available for 90 evacuees currently calling the church home. The building process began yesterday, and church officials hope to have the showers up and running by tomorrow.
