Cowboys go defense in 2018 NFL Draft

Leighton Vander Esch is a Dallas Cowboy, drafted 19th overall is an athletic linebacker who is hard nosed.  Cowboys many thought would go offense at wide receiver, but there was no Dez Bryant type in the pack.  Van Esch comes from Riggins, Idaho population 406, so imagine the culture shock he'll gladly experience in Big D.  Cowboys need help on defense and Van Esch figures to see time quickly, the real meat of the draft come in the middle rounds.

The top draft pick was Heisman winner,  Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield, by Cleveland.  The last pick by Baltimore was another Heisman winner, Lamar Jackson.  In all 5 quarterbacks were selected in the first round.
