East Texans with much needed skills are in the disaster areas.
For the past few days, emergency medical technicians from Champion EMS are helping where they can in a situation that's so dire, including helping the littlest hurricane victims.
EMT's moved 12 neonatal intensive care babies from one hospital to a naval hospital. They've been from one extreme to another, and they say the devastation is unimagineable, says Champion EMS executive director Victor Wells.
Other workers from East Texas Medical Center, Longview Regional, and Good Shepherd are also in the disaster areas.
