Hurricane Evacuees Head to Houston Astrodome

Thousands ordered out of New Orleans,  who took shelter in the Superdome, are now being moved to Houston.

They're going to the Astrodome, about 330 miles away. The first group should arrive within hours. FEMA will provide around 500 buses for the transfer.

At the Superdome, there are broken toilets and no air conditioning to give any relief from the 90-degree heat. More than 20,000 New Orleans evacuees are expected to arrive at the Astrodome.
