WHITEHOUSE, TX (KLTV) - NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne is in East Texas today for two private events going on in Whitehouse. While Kahne was here, he joined East Texas Now for an exclusive one-on-one interview.

The first event is a subcontractor lunch. Multiple schools are going up in Whitehouse ISD this year. Kahne is a special guest, as he is sponsored by WRL general contractors who are contracting the new buildings for Whitehouse ISD.

Kahne's race car will be on site at the new Whitehouse Junior High that is currently under construction. 400 plus people are expected to attend.

Kahne and his team will mingle with the crowd before he takes the stage to answer his most asked fan questions. This lunch is an appreciation event for our subcontractors.

The second event will be at the Whitehouse High School. The car, Kahne, and the team will be at the High School and will host an informal Q&A session with a group of 130 selected students. These students are hand selected based on the programs they are taking in high school. The students will also get to tour the car and have opportunities for pictures with the car and Kasey. The event by invite only.
