TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Easter is right around the corner, and Tyler Parks and Recreation's held their 17th Annual Twilight Easter Egg Hunt.
Children of all ages and their families came out to Lindsey Park for a fun evening filled with Easter egg hunts.
Parents said Friday that they love watching their kids run around and grab the eggs. However, parents with younger children said they are cautious of their safety.
"Sometimes, it's scary because you know she'll get knocked [down], but she likes it and it's fun," said parent Jonna Johnson.
Tyler Parks and Recreation officials sad this was their largest turn out yet.
"I think it's because [...] it's kind of out away from the city, so the parents [...] get back out to nature and they get to experience [it]; so this is really time where they got to put down their phone, they're not watching TV," said Glass Recreation supervisor Anna Santana. "They're really just out here to have a good time and be a family and have a wonderful experience."
It's safe to say the kids enjoyed it just a little bit more.
