LIBERTY CITY, TX (KLTV) - Several of church buses were damaged in a fire at the First Baptist Church in Liberty City early this morning.

One of the buses at the First Baptist Church, located on FM 1252, caught on fire around 4:45 a.m. this morning, according to the pastor of the church Paul Michael Vacca. Strong winds then carried the flames causing the other buses to catch on fire.

According to Vacca, the Sabine Fire Department quickly responded and extinguished the fires. Four of the church's buses were affected in the fire, two of which were damaged beyond repair. There were no injuries in the incident. No one was on the church campus at the time of the fire.

The Greg County Fire Marshall's Office is investigating what caused the fire.
