HENDERSON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A man has been reported missing by his family, an East Texas sheriff confirms.

Richard Oxford, 51, was last seen on Monday, March 19 when he left his home in his white Ford F-150. The truck has a Texas tag, JWF 9595.
Sheriff Botie Hillhouse says that he told his employer on March 20 that he was heading to the Dallas metroplex to visit family. However, Hillhouse said, he never arrived at that family's home.

Hillhouse said that he left behind personal items that were unusual for him to not have taken with him. His daughter said that he does not have his cell phone with him.

"I miss him, love him with my whole heart, and I just want my daddy to come home safe. I don't know anyone with a bigger heart," daughter Samantha Oxford said.

Hillhouse added that they are looking for Oxford and following any leads.

Sheriff Hillhouse said that anyone who has seen Oxford should call the sheriff's office at 903-675-5128.
