EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - A brisk start to our day as we wake up to temps in the lower 40s, but thanks to a very light breeze from the north it is actually quite pleasant outside.
Once the sun comes out we will warm up quickly, with highs for today in the upper 60s and lower 70s across East Texas. Our light northerly breeze will eventually turn more from the southeast this evening, and with that dominate southerly wind sticking around, expect clouds to increase as we head throughout the rest of the week.
Rain chances pop back up on Saturday, but thankfully it doesn't look like a washout. Just a 20% chance of some pop-up showers with the possibility of thunderstorms. Rain chances increase into the start of next week as a cold front gets ready to push through East Texas late Tuesday.
While the weekend forecast still looks to be beautiful, albeit a little breezy, make sure to spend some time outside this week and enjoy the sunshine!
