JACKSONVILLE, TX (KLTV) - Jacksonville police have arrested the notorious "Stinky Butt."

Drashaydrian Montell Hunter, 26, also known as "Stinky Butt" has been arrested in Jacksonville.

Police say they found Hunter in a closet with a black nylon bag over his head just before 7:30 a.m. at an apartment at Jacksonville Pines apartments, located in the 400 block of Talley Nichols Drive.

Hunter is the same suspect who was a carjacking suspect, taken into custody in November. He initially gave Van police his brother's name instead of his own. He was suffering injuries from a suspected car wreck when he was found in that incident, so he was taken to a Tyler hospital.  When a Van police officer was transporting him from the hospital to a jail, he jumped from a wheelchair and escaped from custody.

A search ensued at that time, as well, but officials were unable to locate Hunter.

On March 9, Jacksonville police received a tip by a caller who said they saw Hunter, a felon wanted by several departments, walking around the area of Lincoln Park. Jacksonville police responded and saw Hunter, who immediately fled on foot into a wooded area between Greely and Grant Streets.

Police set up a perimeter and brought in K9 units, as well as a DPS helicopter. He eluded capture once again.

Hunter was arrested Friday morning and taken to the Cherokee County Jail on several outstanding warrants.
