JACKSONVILLE, TX (KLTV) - Quarterback Josh McCown signed his new one-year contract with the New York Jets while waiting in line for Chick-fil-a.
The Jacksonville native headed to the Jets last year on a one-year contract worth $6 million. In August of 2017 McCown was named starting quarterback.
According to ESPN, McCown was in Texas in a drive-thru line at Chick-fil-a, waiting on food, when he signed the new contract on his smartphone via electronic signature.
McCown will be returning to the Jets on a one year, $10 million contract, according to the report.
