TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

A man who police say robbed a gas station with a butcher knife has now been indicted.

Hunter Milligan, 22, of Tyler was indicted March 1 by a Smith County grand jury. Milligan was indicted for a charge of aggravated robbery.

The charge stems for a Feb. 13 robbery of the Fast Food Convenience Store in the 800 block of West Houston Street.

Police say a clerk who was working that day told them that Milligan came into the store armed with a butcher knife and demanded money. When the clerk complied, Milligan allegedly took a wad of cash and fled the scene.

He was later arrested and booked into the Smith County Jail.
