Wednesday's Weather: Mostly sunny and mild. Highs in the mid 60s

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

It is another cool start to the day. Skies are mostly clear. Clear skies will make way for sunshine for your Hump Day. Highs will be in the mid-60s today. The winds will steer towards a southerly flow as the day goes on. Winds will be light.

A few more clouds will make for a partly cloudy day tomorrow. Warmer air from the south will continue to flow in. Highs will enter the 70s tomorrow afternoon. Rain chances come back into the forecast Friday. Rain chances are slim to close out the work week, but keep your umbrellas close by because soggy conditions will continue through the weekend.

The upcoming weekend will still be warm. Rain chances elevate for the weekend. Showers and storms will form in front of a cold front. The front will not slide all the way through East Texas but will come far enough in to give us unsettled weather this weekend.

Monday will feature dry conditions. A cold front will again attempt to swing through East Texas, but this time succeed. The cold front will drop temperatures near 70 degrees for next Tuesday.
