The latest addition to Tyler's rapidly growing restaurant scene is set to open the week of March 19.
The Original Pancake House, founded in 1953 in Oregon, will soon be open on Old Jacksonville Hwy in Tyler. Their signature items are listed as an apple pancake, which is a single large pancake smothered with sauteed apples and cinnamon sugar, then baked to perfection to create a "deliciously rich cinnamon sugar glaze.
They also feature the popular Dutch Baby, "an air-filled delight oven baked to golden perfection and served with lemon, whipped butter, and powdered sugar."
They also say they offer unique omelets, crepes, and, of course, pancakes of all kinds.
The Tyler location will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The location is 7278 Old Jacksonville Hwy in Tyler. Their number is 903-630-9332.
