LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - It's happened again! A tobacco store in Longview was broken into in the early hours of Friday morning, according to police.
The store is located in the 500 block of E. Loop 281.
Just before 5 a.m., two suspects can be seen walking up to the front of the store, wearing masks and hoodies. They break the glass on the door with a sledgehammer and enter the store.
The burglars, seen on video, load up a clear garbage bag with multiple cartons of cigarettes and quickly flee the store, while the alarm is going off.
The same event happened back on January 10 when three burglars broke into the store and stole around 120 cartons of cigarettes and fled the scene in a black sedan. Those suspects were never found.
It's unknown if the two incidents are related, however, both crimes occurred around the same time, in the early hours of the morning. The suspects wore masks and gloves and only stole cigarettes.
If you have any information on the suspects or the burglary you are asked to contact Longview Police or Gregg County Crime Stoppers.
