Longview Bad Restaurant Report

  Six Longview area restaurants were given the most serious violations is the latest inspections by the health department including Churchs Chicken at 917 East Marshall avenue. Eight violations were found in an August 11th inspection. Flies were found on raw chicken , and roach infestation, and cold foods at unsafe temperatures. They scored a "C".

  Eight violations were also found in a July 26th inspection of "Little Mexico II" at 1301 Mccann road. Food contact surfaces were uncleaned and cold foods were held at unsafe temperatures. They scored a C.

  Brookshires Deli at 3354 Gilmer road had 6 violations in an August 12th inspection. There was evidence of roach infestation and hot and cold foods were held at unsafe temperatures. They scored a C.

  7 violations were found in an August 15th inspection of Whataburger at 1429 west Loop 281. Gnat infestation was found , employee hygienic violations and hot foods at improper temperatures. They scored a B.

  The Butcher Shop at 102 Lehigh had 7 violations in an August 11th inspection. Mold was found growing on strawberries, there was evidence of roach contamination and improper thawing of cold foods. They scored a B.

  Seven violations were found in a July 22nd inspection of the Texas Roadhouse. There were hygienic violations and uncleaned prep areas and unprotected food. They scored a B.
