GLADEWATER, TX (KLTV) - Mrs. Lee's Garden in Gladewater is now closed due to "catastrophic failure of the park's wooden bridge."
From early February until the middle of March, Mrs. Lee's Daffodil Garden is usually open for your viewing pleasure.
However, on Thursday it was announced by the Texas Forest Trail region's Facebook page, that the garden is closed.
The garden is located at 21600 County Road 3103 in Gladewater.
Daffodils were Helen Lee's favorite flower so when she decided to plant them on her rural property, she ordered an entire boxcar load from Holland. Over the years the daffodils have multiplied into millions.
There is no admission charge. Lee, who died in 1984, just wanted others to enjoy the beautiful flowers as much as she did.
