Prosciutto and arugula pizza with goat cheese by Mama Steph

(KLTV/KTRE) - Perfect for Oscar night or any night you need a delicious snack or a quick meal.

Prosciutto and arugula pizza with goat cheese

1 recipe of your favorite pizza dough, prepared and placed on a parchment-lined baking sheet

2 tablespoons olive oil

½ cup canned diced tomatoes with basil

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

2 cups baby arugula leaves

4 ounce package goat cheese, crumbled

½ to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

3 ounce package thinly sliced prosciutto, chopped

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Method:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Sprinkle crust with olive oil, and spread it evenly.

Spread the diced tomatoes over the crust

Sprinkle the garlic and red pepper flakes over the crust.

Top with the goat cheese, then arugula, then prosciutto, then mozzarella.

Bake for about 15 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
