EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Happy Friday! The work week wraps up with dry and sunny conditions. High pressure will provide the calm conditions and an easterly flow at 5-10 mph. Highs will be delightfully mild, in the mid to upper 60s.
The dry pattern will continue through Saturday. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs near 70 degrees. Wet weather returns Sunday. The Storm Prediction Center has placed portions of East Texas under a Marginal Risk, risk 1 out of 5. The area could possibly experience scattered strong storms, some that could be severe. Soggy conditions will flow into the start of the new work week on Monday. A cold front will pass Monday, but after it passes, dry weather returns Tuesday.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny, and the rest of the work week will feature dry conditions with a good supply of sunshine. Highs are expected to be in the 60s.
