MINEOLA, TX (KLTV) - Multiple agencies assisted in a high water rescue Thursday morning.

The rescue occurred on FM 1804 at about 11 a.m.

According to Mineola Fire Marshal David Madsen, the driver of the truck reportedly passed the two sets of barricades that were blocking off the road and tried to pass through the flooded area.

Madsen says the man was hospitalized but his identity and condition are unknown.

It is a Class B Misdemeanor to drive past barricades. There is no word on whether the rescued driver will be charged.

The Mineola Fire Department posted on their Facebook page: "This is what happens when you go through the barricades. Please obey the warning signs."
