SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Crews are working to remove several trees and power lines down in Smith County after storms moved through early Thursday morning.

According to Tyler police, Oncor crews are working to remove trees and downed power lines on the following roads in the city limits: 1st Street at Hill Avenue, Robertson Road north of Lindsey Lane, Timberwilde at Richmond Avenue, Newcastle at Hubbard and Madison Street west of 155 Frankston Highway.

Smith County Road and Bridge officials are reporting trees down on County Road 444 and County Road 445.

The Smith County sheriff's office is reporting County Road 490, west of Highway 69 N, is closed due to a downed tree. County Road 2180 is reported to remain closed due to high water over the road.

Motorists should be on the watch for trees and power lines down, especially on back roads where crews are not on the scene yet.
