EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Good Thursday morning, East Texas! Showers and a few isolated thunderstorms will continue for the early morning but should be coming to an end around the normal morning commute. As the cold front moves slowly through East Texas, temperatures are dropping into the 50s. North winds will be breezy today, gusting up to 20-25 mph at times. Skies will gradually clear through the afternoon and evening and temperatures will drop into the 40s tonight for a chilly start to your Friday. Sunny and very nice Friday with high temperatures in the mid 60s and light winds. Saturday will be a bit breezy, but still nice with lots of sunshine and mild temperatures. Cloud cover increases Saturday night into Sunday morning with another chance for showers and thunderstorms Sunday afternoon. Another cold front moves through Monday with rain ending north to south Monday afternoon and evening. More sunshine is on the way for the middle of next week.
