Smith County arrests 2 suspects wanted in vehicle thefts

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Two East Texas men, wanted in connection with vehicle thefts in Smith County have been arrested.

Adam Leal, 33 of Tyler, was arrested Monday, Feb. 26 at about 7 p.m. by Smith County deputies.

Leal is one, of several people, wanted in regards to vehicles stolen out of Smith County.

According to the Smith County sheriff’s office Facebook Page, Jacob Spivey was also taken into custody Sunday, Feb. 25.
Spivey was wanted for engaging in an organized criminal activity. Spivey is in the Smith County jail under a $100,000 bond.
SCSO says these charges stem from an investigation into vehicles stolen out of Smith, Cherokee, Titus, and Henderson counties.
