JASPER COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - According to a press release from the Jasper Police Department, during the early morning hours of February 27, the department's Narcotics Division and SWAT Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 510 Shady Lane, lot B-1, in the City limits of Jasper. The warrant was issued as a result of an ongoing investigation by the Jasper PD Narcotics Division, officials say.
Upon arrival, officers say they located two individuals inside the residence. Roy Sadaro Jackson, 43, and Wanda Jackson, 50. Police say a search of the residence yielded approximately $4,000, drug paraphernalia, items used in the packaging and distribution of narcotics as well as crack cocaine, Methamphetamine, Xanax, marijuana and a loaded .38 caliber pistol.
Law enforcement says that both subjects were arrested for the following charges: Possession of PG1 – 2nd Degree Felony (Crack Cocaine) , Possession of PG1 - 3rd Degree Felony (Methamphetamines), Possession of Marijuana >4oz <5lbs – State Jail Felony, Possession of PG3 – Misdemeanor A (Xanax).
