LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Two men have been indicted on charges for an aggravated robbery of a gas station in Longview in November 2017.

Christopher Lawrence Williams, 25, of Kilgore and Corey Tremayne Lilly, 18, of Longview were both indicted on the charge of aggravated robbery. Williams and Lilly were indicted by a grand jury for the 188th District Court of Gregg County.

Williams and Lilly were taken into custody after an off-duty officer spotted them running away from the gas station in the 1800 block of High Street. Officers were able to recover all the items stolen from the gas station and the gun used in the robbery.

Williams and Lilly had entered the store demanding cigarettes, then one of them brandished a weapon and demanded cash. They then left the location with cash and other items, according to the police.
