EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Good Monday morning, East Texas! Mostly cloudy this morning with a few isolated showers. Breezy and warm this afternoon with high temperatures reaching the mid 70s. South winds will gust up to 20-25 mph and a few isolated showers are possible. Mostly cloudy and mild tonight with temperatures only dropping into the 60s. Another mostly cloudy breezy day tomorrow, but with a much more likely chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms by afternoon and evening. Rain will be heavy at times and flash flooding is a possibility in areas that see the most rainfall. A FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY is in effect for both Tuesday and Wednesday for the possibility of flooding with the heavy rainfall. A cold front will be slow-moving through the area Wednesday and will drop temperatures back into the upper 50s and lower 60s for midweek. Likely rain chances continue all week long with another cold front this weekend.
