Gregg County man to spend 75 years in prison for aggravated sexual assault of children

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - On Friday, a man was sentenced to decades in prison on child aggravated sexual assault charges.

Judge Alfonso Charles sentenced Cody Miller to 75 years in prison for his June 11, 2014 aggravated assault of a child. 

During Assistant DA Madison Hood's cross examination of Miller, he admitted to sexually assaulting at least eight different children of both sexes. The children ranged in age from 4- to 14 years of age, the district attorney says. 

Judge Charles held Miller in contempt of court for refusing to answer questions regarding Miller's nephew who is under the age of 12.

Longview Police Officer David Cheatham was the lead investigator in the case.
