EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Good Thursday morning East Texas! Cloudy this morning with a few areas of drizzle and mist. Not as much fog as yesterday because winds have already picked up and are gusting to 15-20 mph. Winds will gust up to 20-25 mph through the afternoon, making for a breezy and warm day with high temperatures in the mid 70s this afternoon. Mostly cloudy tonight with temperatures staying in the 60s through morning. The cold front arrives midday and temperatures will begin to fall quickly into the 50s by afternoon with blustery north winds. Rain is possible along the front as it moves through, but much more likely with overrunning moisture behind the front this weekend. Widespread showers are likely Saturday and possibly into Sunday for a few places. Temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s Saturday, but warm back to near 60 degrees Sunday. The cloudy, rainy weather pattern will continue into next week.
