Kilgore Police needs your help identifying the suspects involved in check forgery.

The police department was notified in late January of a victim's account being compromised. Several checks in Longview had been passed using the victim's account and personal information, one was also passed in Kilgore.

Kilgore police say they are looking for two suspects. One suspect is a dark haired white female who was caught by the Citizens Bank in the Brookshire's in Kilgore. A white male has also been spotted passing several checks at various locations. He was observed driving a red pickup on one occasion and a dark colored car on another occasion.

According to police, the victim put a check in the mail, and more than likely someone stole that mail, used her account information and created new checks. The suspects put other people's names and addresses on the counterfeit checks.

Anyone with information is asked to contact The Gregg County Crime Stoppers at 903- 236- STOP or you can call the Kilgore Police Department 903-218-6906 using the reference number 1801-1528.
