EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Good Tuesday morning, East Texas. Grab the coats and the umbrellas this morning. Temperatures are starting in the 30s with increasing clouds early this morning. Chances for scattered showers and maybe an isolated thundershower become likely through the day and into the afternoon. Temperatures this afternoon will only reach the upper 40s and with clouds and rain likely overnight, temperatures will stay steady through tomorrow morning. Valentine's Day looks mostly cloudy with a few more showers off and on through the day. Temperatures will reach the lower to mid 60s by Wednesday afternoon. The warmest day of the forecast will be Thursday with temperatures reaching the lower to mid 70s by afternoon despite mostly cloudy skies. A cold front arrives midday on Friday and will bring another likely chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures Friday will be in the 50s most of the day and will fall quickly behind the cold front Friday afternoon and evening. The unsettled weather pattern sticks around with more chances for rain this weekend.
