GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The Gregg County Sheriff's Office is looking for two armed suspects connected with the early morning aggravated robbery of a convenience store in Liberty City.

Deputies were called around 1 a.m Friday morning to the Zippy J's in the 64-hundred block of old highway 135 where it was reported that 2 armed men had confronted workers.

According to the Gregg County Sheriff's Office, Two suspects entered the location, presented a weapon and demanded money from the clerk, after obtaining an undisclosed amount of US currency, both suspects fled the store in an unknown direction of travel, possibly driving a late model, light-colored Dodge Charger R/T.

The suspects are described by witnesses as two white or Hispanic males, one around 6 feet tall, the other between 5'5" and 5'8".

Both were wearing jeans and dark hoodies with face coverings.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Gregg County Sheriff's Office.
