Truck Drivers Can Drive Longer Without Stopping

Truck drivers will now be allowed to stay behind the wheel for eleven hours straight without taking a rest. This is one hour longer than previously allowed. Yesterday, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration revised the rule allowing them to drive eleven hours.  Safety advocates say that is three hours longer than they should.
