COPY-B-T-K serial killer to report to Kansas prison

WICHITA, Kan. Dennis Rader will be reporting to the El Dorado prison in Kansas today to begin serving a minimum of 175 years without a chance of parole.

The B-T-K serial killer terrorized the Wichita, Kansas, area for nearly 20 years, and confessed to ten murders.Yesterday's sentence is the longest that the judge could order him to serve since Kansas had no death penalty at the time of the murders.Prosecutors have asked that Rader not be allowed to see or hear news reports of the murders and be prohibited from writing about his sexual fantasies. A hearing on those issues has been schedule for next month.
