After being missing for four days, an East Texas woman and her three children were found safe this morning out of state. Twenty-seven-year-old Kissie Smith of Brownsboro and her children,
7-year-old Elijah, and 6-year-old twins, Cassie and Harry were reported missing Saturday morning.
Kissie's mother, Sharon Wood, says she knew her daughter and grandchildren would be found safe. "I just thank God she's alive. I've just been so worried. My husband's supported me, my mother in law, her family. That's what I needed, the support to let me know, Kissie's OK. She's OK, don't believe she's dead. Don't believe the worst and I haven't. I've always kept positive attitude towards all this," said Wood.
The Brownsboro Police Department says Kissie willingly left home with her children. The department is not releasing exactly where Kissie was found or where she is right now.
