The hunt has ended for a Tennessee couple wanted in connection with Tuesday's deadly ambush that left a prison guard dead.
George Hyatte and Jennifer Forsyth Hyatte were found in a motel room in Columbus, Ohio. The head of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says they were arrested without a struggle. Weapons were recovered, but it's unclear if the murder weapon was among them.
Authorities say Jennifer Hyatte ambushed two guards as they were leading her husband from a courthouse hearing in Kingston, Tennessee. Jennifer Hyatte had some injuries, but officials don't elaborate. It's believed she may have been wounded during Tuesday's shooting.
A tip had led authorities earlier in the day to a van outside a Kentucky motel just south of Cincinnati that was believed to have been used by the couple.
