CHEROKEE COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Two Lufkin men were arrested in Cherokee County on multiple charges this weekend.
Kenneth Brewer, 26, and Andrew Garcia, 31, both of Lufkin, were arrested Saturday, Nov. 18 during a traffic stop.
The men were pulled over on Highway 69 in Rusk. During the stop, the detective performed a search of the vehicle and found a revolver pistol and a bag of suspected methamphetamine weighing over 150 grams.
Also located in the vehicle was packaging material and a set of scales, along with suspected marijuana. Cash was also seized.
The estimated value of the methamphetamine is approximately $15,000.
Brewer and Garcia were arrested at the scene.
Brewer is charged with manufacture and delivery of a substance, possession of marijuana, and unlawful carry of a weapon. He is currently in the Cherokee County Jail on a $29,000 bond.
Garcia was charged with possession of marijuana.He was released on a $1,500 bond.
