Ask The Cowboys - August 3rd

In today’s "Ask the Cowboys" segment, Laszlo from Las Vegas asks head coach Bill Parcells, "What percentage of practice time will be used on the 3-4 defense, and do we have the right personnel for that style of play?"

"I would hope that we could use the principals of that defense pretty extensively," Parcells answered, "but if we can’t, we have a background in other schemes here that we could alter that thinking if it doesn’t look like we’re going to be able to make that stick. The technique that I want is being taught. I see evidence of it on the field. Pretty good already."

How healthy the defense remains will have a lot to do with the success of the 3-4 defense. So far, so good in that department.
