Triplets To Enter The Ring Of Honor Together

As perfect as when they played together, he triplets, Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith and Michael Irvin are going in together. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced tonight that the trio will become the newest members of the teams exclusive Ring of Honor.

"When you look at what each of these men did for those teams that became the best in the NFL," said Jones, "and how they complimented each other, it's fitting that Michael Irvin, Troy Aikman, and Emmitt Smith are going in the Ring of Honor together."

"I tell you, it absolutely blows my mind to tell you," said Irvin, "that my name is going up there with those great players."

"To know that you've got a part in that," said Aikman, "and to know that in some level, people are reliving some really great years is extremely meaningful to me."

"So many people out there talk about Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison and Edgerin James, about the triplets," said Smith, "but you are looking at the three triplets right now. This is the original, and we are the real OG's, without a doubt."

The original triplets will be inducted into the Ring of Honor on September 19.

I think its safe to say Jameis Winston likes to hang out with East Texas talent. The Tampa Bay quarterback was in Lufkin Wednesday night with former teammate Jorvorskie Lane to help the former Lufkin star talk with kids and support his "Lane of Hope" foundation. But, earlier Wednesday, a picture surfaced on social media of Winston working out with Adrian Peterson in Houston at a training facility.
