Clifton Williams Charged With Capital Murder

The Tyler man accused of killing a 93-year-old woman is charged with capital murder.

Clifton Lamar Williams, 21, appeared in court today. He was arrested Friday night.

Police say two weekends ago, he stabbed Cecelia Schneider to death, stole her car and purse, and set her house on fire.

Williams is held at the Smith County Jail on $1-million bail.
