Marshall Man Sentenced In Dog Attack

A Marshall man has been sentenced to prison on aggravated assault charges after his two pit-bulls attack a woman. Aubrey Brown was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading no contest, for a February 27th incident where his two pit-bulls attacked a woman near her home, leaving her with multiple bite wounds and having to take 17 stitches across her neck.

Police documented five other instances where the dogs attacked people, and Brown offered no apologies or explanations. Brown is currently serving a nine month sentence on other charges, and can't appeal the 20 year sentence, because he plead no contest.
