Oceans Apart But Still "Sisters" Sharing Common Goals

Changing the world through friendship and understanding. The city of Tyler has a new special bond with a country across the ocean.
The city of Tyler and Asan City, Korea are sister cities. Saturday dignitaries from Asan City are in Tyler touring and meeting with city leaders.
The two cities exchanged gifts and the mayor of Asan City, Hee-Bok Kang, was presented with a key to Tyler. We asked him what he thinks of the rose city after visitng for the first time.
"I believe the city is very peaceful, cozy and with a tremendous potential for future," a translot said for Mayor Kang.
Leaders from both cities said they hope their new relationship will promotoes cultural and educational exchange. The sister city relationship was developed by representatives of youth with a mission.
