NFL Player Comes Home For Visit

From Tyler, to the NFL;  Terrence Robinson is living the dream of a lifetime. The John Tyler grad was back home today, helping out at an ETMC diabetes day camp, which was taking part in the ropes course at the ETMC Behavioral Health Center.  He was signing autographs and visiting with kids. Robinson, an Oklahoma State linebacker, who will attend training camp this fall with the Seattle Seahawks, says he has never forgotten where it all started.

"To look where I come from, you know, the small town of Tyler, Texas," said Robinson, "and just look back at the fan base and the major support that I have here, you know it's just really humbled me and helped me, and motivated me to want to work harder and be successful."

Robinson has previously spent time with the Steelers and Falcons.

As for the ropes course,  it's located behind the ETMC Behavioral Health Center on University Boulevard, right across the street from UT-Tyler.  The course is open  to youth groups, sports teams, community organizations, church groups... pretty much any group wanting to build leadership and team spirit.

If you would like more information on the ropes course, you can contact the ETMC Behavioral Health professionals at (903) 266-2200, or visit their website at
