Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Girl On Bus Could Return To East Texas

A man accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old Longview girl on a Greyhound bus, could return to East Texas for trial.  Lakelvius Swain of Alabama was arrested Tuesday at a bus terminal in Shreveport. The girl claims the sexual assault happened Monday night on a bus ride from Dallas to Longview.

She got off the bus in Longview, but Swain continued to ride to Shreveport.  Police tell us an extradition hearing is scheduled for Thursday, and Swain could be brought back to Tyler.

Swain is currently in the Shreveport city jail on an outstanding warrant out of Longview. He will also be charged with aggravated sexual assault.

    An East Texas family is hoping someone can provide answers for a relative who turned up missing over the weekend. Family members reported that Felisha Pearson, 29, of Longview disappeared on Sunday and has not been seen or heard from since.
