Bids for Kids, Helping Abused Children

An effort is underway to help abused children in East Texas. It's called "Bids for Kids." Proceeds benefit the Children's Advocacy Center of Smith County.

Items up for auction range from a round of golf, to groceries and gasoline, to dinner at area restaurants. One item in particular we wanted to mention, is an evening with the KLTV 7 anchors. You and five other people can watch KLTV 7 news live in the studio and then enjoy dinner with the 5, 6 and 10pm anchors catered by Traditions.

For a complete list of items and to find out where to call to bid, go back to our home page and click on the community page. Then click on the area titled "bids for kids." But, you better hurry, the last day of the auction is June 28 at 5 pm.
