Navarro County Sheriff identifies Longview victims injured in home explosion

NAVARRO COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

The Navarro County Sheriff's Office has identified three victims with east Texas ties that were injured in a home explosion Thursday night. 

According to family members, William "Bill" Gilcoat, Cathy Spruiell, Margaret Gilcoat-Rowland were born in Longview and graduated from Longview High School. 

The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. 

According to KXXV, five people were hurt after a home located on the 500 block of West Highway 31 suddenly exploded around 11 p.m.

Emergency crews were able to rescue all five people inside the home. Homeowners Cathy Spruiell and husband Dwain Spruiell are in stable condition in Parkland in Dallas. 

According to the Navarro County Sheriff Elmer Tanner, no other homes or businesses nearby were damaged.
