Man indicted for murder of gas station clerk during armed robbery

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

One of the suspects involved in a January armed robbery, that left a gas station clerk dead, has been indicted.

Dameon Jamrc Mosley, 25, of Tyler was indicted earlier this month, with capital murder by terror threat and aggravated robbery.

On January 28, just before 4 a.m., Mosley and Lamarcus Hannah reportedly struck a Conoco gas station on Loop 323 in Smith County. Billy Dale Stacks was working as the clerk at the time. He was shot several times and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Mosley was arrested the following day in Dallas. Hannah was arrested in Tyler. 

Mosley is currently in the Smith County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.

Hannah is also in the Smith County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
